*Waste of time and money!* I met with Brian and his wife, the middle of 2018, to prepare estate planning documents for me. After I received the initial documents, I called back with questions. I was told Brian's time was very valuable, he was reluctant to call me back, but he would. I was assured that my documents could very easily be modified if need be in the future. To sign the final documents, I took time off work, drove to Punta Gorda, and had to wait for 30-45; apparently, my time is not valuable! Recently I reached out to them to make a few name changes (a simple word document ‘find and replace’). I was originally told that I would have to drive 3 hours to Punta Gorda (I recently moved to Fort Lauderdale) to sign the new documents and they didn't know how much it would cost because it was a “major” change (again... a simple word document ‘find and replace’). Then Brian left me a lengthy message telling me to Google estate planning and have my paperwork completely redone. They couldn’t help me make the simple word document ‘find and replace’ changes and especially since I had moved to Fort Lauderdale. Apparently, in the day and age of everything being done online, emailed, notarized, scanned, etc.; they will not and cannot accommodate. Now, I have unusable estate planning documents and I have to have everything completely redone. An absolute waste of time and money! I was assured they could make changes for me in the future. Had I known I had to stay within a 15-mile radius of Punt Gorda and/or simple changes would be considered too much; I NEVER would have gone to them.
